SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt has opened up giving the young players regular minutes this season.
The Tshwane outfit remain without a DStv Premiership win in 2024 after going down 2-1 to Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday evening.
With the side trailing 1-0 at halftime, Hunt threw on Terrence Dzvukamanja and Lyle Lakay at the start of the second half.

Hunt says it was important for the experienced players to come on, as they improved in the second period.
"We had to do it, we were good, we were much better but hey we're not scoring, it doesn't give us anything and obviously everything they hit goes in so it's unfortunate," Hunt told SuperSport.
"But these young boys are learning, they rather do it now than later. Learn as we go along. A lot of them are gonna make mistakes, the second goal as well. Disappointed but we have to do it this way.
"We're disappointed but the attitude is good, the mentality is good, we're working hard but we've got to suffer because you're playing against seasoned players, it's costing us."
SuperSport will be in action again on Wednesday evening as they take on Royal AM, looking for their first league win of the year.
