What's the story?

Kermit Erasmus has endured an injury-ridden season at the Buccaneers but is seemingly making a recovery after scoring a spectacular goal during a training ground friendly.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns forward has only managed, 11 appearances in all competitions for the Buccaneers this season, scoring one goal in the process.

Erasmus is enjoying a second stint at the Buccaneers after leaving for Stade Rennes in France back in 2016 and has already enjoyed some trophy success with two MTN8 crowns and last season's Nedbank Cup.

According to a reports, his future at the Sea Robbers is looking uncertain as the Buccaneers might not extend his current, with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

With just a solitary strike this season and just four overall since his return to Pirates, Erasmus will be desperate to get back out there and do what he does best — creating and scoring goals.

Erasmus took to his Instagram story to share a video of him scoring long-range strike in a behind-closed-doors friendly. He captioned the video: "Left is right and right is left, I don't do flukes."
