Having broken the news in last week’s Soccer Laduma that Kopano Thuntsane has penned a new deal with struggling Moroka Swallows, the Siya crew has been informed of the length of the player’s contract.
According to Siya sources, the former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper has signed a one-year deal with the Dube Birds, though the club have yet to make an official announcement.
The crew understands that Thuntsane’s contract does contain an option to extend for a further year. The Pirates development product was without a club since being released by the Buccaneers at the end of the 2022/23 season.
