Brazilian superstar Neymar is reportedly in talks with a former club over a return, despite joining Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal less than a year ago.

The 32-year-old Selecao international joined the Saudi side as a free agent following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain in June 2023, with an injury having kept him sidelined since October.
During his time in France, Neymar was often linked with a move back to Spanish giants Barcelona, whom he represented between 2013 and 2017, although the LALIGA club's financial situation made such a deal difficult to strike.
However, returning to the Blaugrana is not something the winger nor the club have ruled out ahead of 2025.
It is suggested by journalist Joan Fontes, who was speaking on the Bar Canaletes podcast, that Neymar has held discussions with Barcelona president Joan Laporta over a potential return, with the player's deal in Saudi set to expire next year.
He states that the footballer's son still lives in Barcelona with the mother of his child, and that money would not be an issue for the ex-Blaugrana star due to the salary he is currently earning in the Middle East.
There is a belief Neymar could seek to use a move back to Europe to his advantage ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, a tournament that could be his last for Brazil.
