Ahead of the Red Devils' Egypt Cup final against Zamalek in Saudi Arabia on Friday, the South African is considered one of his teams' danger men by former Egypt star Mido.
Speaking as a pundit on Al-Mehwar, the former Premier League forward warned that Zamalek, whom he represented as a player, should be careful of starting a certain defender against Tau.
"If I were training for Zamalek, I would be afraid to start with [Ahmed] Fatouh in a high-ranking match against Percy Tau in a match like this," he said.
"Percy Tau has great speed and enters deep into the field, and he is one of the best deals that Al Ahly has made in recent years
"I fear for Fatouh. Zamalek starts the match with him and [he] cannot stay on the field for a long time."
Tau, 29, joined Al Ahly from Brighton in 2021, and has since contributed to an impressive 37 goals in 97 appearances across all competitions.
