Reigning champions Al Ahly advanced to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League after defeating Simba SC 3-0 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.

With Mamelodi Sundowns overcoming Young Africans on penalties, there are no more Tanzanian sides left in the competition.
The Egyptian Red Devils will face the winner between Congolese giants TP Mazembe and Petro du Luanda, who face off their in second -leg quarter-final on Saturday.
